Wells Fargo is seeking a Vice President, Lead Corporate Banking Relationship Manager as part of the Financial Institutions/Global Banks Corporate & Investment Banking team. This individual will be responsible for building, maintaining, and growing profitable relationships with Banks who are Corporate Banking clients with assets below $20Bn. (Emerging growth segment) This role will also support Senior Corporate Banking Relationship Managers who are responsible for developing and maintaining strategic relationships with a broad range of corporate clients and delivering the full platform of Wells Fargo's capabilities including Debt & Equity Capital Markets, Leveraged Finance, M&A related Acquisition Finance, Treasury Management, Macro solutions, Global Receivables & Trade and Credit. This position requires a VP that is capable of supporting more senior Relationship Managers driving the business and developing complex relationships as well as having his/her own portfolio of clients. The successful candidate should have a proven ability to develop internal and external relationships, and have some relevant corporate banking experience. **Financial Institution/Banks sector** **experience is a plus** . **In this role, you will:** + Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross functional with broad impact and act as key participant in relationship management and business development for Corporate Banking functional area + Strive to broaden and deepen customer relationships by providing integrated, end to end financial solutions to our customers across multiple product platforms + Participate in the completion of major transactions with management + Originate, structure and execute the largest most complex transactions related to investment banking, traditional corporate lending or their credit related products + Demonstrate a strategic and consultative approach with client + Identify opportunities and organize the right internal partners and team to form the relationship team + Strategically collaborate and consult with peers and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals + Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor **Required Qualifications:** + 5+ years of Corporate Banking Relationship Management experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education **Desired Qualifications:** + Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills + Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy + Strong accounting skills and ability to analyze financial statements + Relationship management or client-facing experience + Credit underwriting experience highly desired + Ability to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment + Ability to work effectively, as well as independently, in a team environment + Intermediate Microsoft Office skills **Job Expectations:** + Ability to travel up to 40% of the time + Registration for FINRA Series 7 (or 79) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire. FINRA recognized equivalents will be accepted. + Registration for FINRA Series 63 (or 66) must be completed within 90 days of hire date if it is not available for transfer upon hire.
