• This is 100% Onsite role in Seattle, WA
• Duration of Contract : 2 years
• Hours: Full-time (40 hours/week)

Position Summary:

• Accela Developer will support the Client in developing and maintaining custom configurations, scripts, integrations, and reports on the Accela Civic Platform.
  
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with municipal Accela environments and possess strong skills in Accela scripting, MSSQL, SSRS, and external integrations with tools like Bluebeam and ESRI ArcGIS.
  

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, configure, and maintain Client's Accela implementation: record types, scrip, expressions, SQL, integrations, and payment adapters.
• Develop new record types, workflows, and enhancements in line with evolving business needs (e.g., Construction Management Plan Amendment Process, Sound Transit Phase 3).
• Support migration efforts to the new Accela Portal experience.
• Develop SSRS reports, SQL database views, and stored procedures for reporting needs.
• Maintain integrations with external systems such as Bluebeam, ESRI ArcGIS, and Hansen 8.
• Package and deploy Accela releases (scheduled and off-cycle).
• Maintain and update specification documents and code comments.
• Ensure compliance with City and Client development standards.
• Mentor team members on Accela best practices and new platform features.
• Liaise with the EPIC team and Accela on platform-related defects.
  

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience with Accela Automation, Citizen Access, and scripting (EMSE, JavaScript).
• 3+ years of experience working with Accela in a municipal or DOT environment.
• 5+ years of experience with SSRS and SQL Server (views, procedures, database design).
• Hands-on experience with Accela APIs, Bluebeam integration, and ArcGIS.
• Strong documentation and communication skills.
