Job Description

We are looking to hire an entry-level full-time Chocolatier to work in our kitchen in Bryant Park in midtown Manhattan. This is an hourly position with opportunities for growth. 

Established in 2016, KHC is a multiple International award-winning chocolate shop and recently, we were recognized as one of the 50 Best Chocolate Shops in America by Food & Wine magazine and one of 12 Best Chocolate Shops in the USA by Time Out Magazine.

Joining our team provides the opportunity to work with inventive chocolates, pastries and chocolate sculptures that unify the eclectic NYC-inspired flavors with French techniques, where only the best quality, finest craftsmanship with beautiful packaging represent the heart of Kreuther Handcrafted Chocolate.

Join our passionate team to execute seasonal chocolate bonbons with state-of-the-art tools and high-volume production with an emphasis on quality and flavor. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities will encompass all elements of chocolate production for the shop, restaurant Gabriel Kreuther, e-commerce, and special/corporate orders for holidays and year-around.
• Uphold the highest standards of organization and cleanliness according to health department rules and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

• Strong personal drive, work ethic, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Must possess strong communication and organizational skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• A genuine passion and knowledge for food, pastry and chocolate.

Experience:

• Prior degree in Baking and/or Pastry from an accredited culinary university preferred.
