The Opportunity

The AVP, Bank Manager is responsible for overseeing the retail banking operations across three branch locations (Adams, Grand Marsh, and Oxford), providing leadership, fostering client relationships, and driving business growth. This role requires an individual who thrives on autonomy, community engagement, and fostering a high-performing team culture.

What You Will Bring

Required Experience:

  • Banking + leadership experience in the retail banking space
  • Demonstrated ability to coach, develop and create relationships with a team through one-on one meetings, performance management and ongoing feedback
  • Client-centric communication skills and a people-first mindset
  • Have or be able to attain a NMLS number
  • Advanced experience in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to make key business decisions and act with autonomy and independence
  • Desire and capacity to be the face of OCB within the community

Preferred Experience:

  • Commercial lending/banking experience

  • Drive Branch Growth and Financial Performance : Meet or exceed branch growth targets by proactively engaging clients, identifying opportunities to cross-sell bank products, and successfully originating and closing consumer loans. Achieve measurable improvements in overall branch sales and profitability.
  • Enhance Client Satisfaction and Community Engagement : Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction and loyalty. Actively represent the bank in local community activities and organizations to enhance brand visibility and strengthen community ties.
  • Develop and Lead a High-Performing Team : Provide leadership and coaching to retail banking staff, fostering a culture of collaboration and accountability. Improve team performance by conducting regular one-on-one meetings, offering feedback, and supporting professional development.
